Grass stains can be very difficult to remove. Fortunately, you may already have everything you need to remove the grass stains in your cabinet. Below are some natural laundry tips for removing grass stains:

Vinegar to Remove Grass Stains

Vinegar is an effective and low-cost remedy for removing grass stains. It is very simple to use vinegar to get rid of grass stains. All you have to do is apply undiluted vinegar to the stain. Let the vinegar soak overnight. After that, you can launder your clothes as you normally would.

You can also use a solution made out of one part warm water, one part vinegar and one part rubbing alcohol. You will need to use this mixture to pre-treat the stain. Let the mixture set for 10 to 15 minutes before washing it as you normally would.

Enzymes to Remove Grass Stains

Enzymes can help attack the protein in the stain. Using a detergent that contains enzymes before washing the clothing will help remove the stain in many cases. You will simply need to apply the enzyme detergent to the stain. If you have a powdered form of detergent, you will need to mix it with a little warm water before applying it to the stain.

Scrub the item with the digestive enzyme. After that, you will need to wait 15 minutes and then wash the item. You can also use digestive enzymes to remove the stain, which can be found at your health food store.

Rubbing Alcohol to Remove Grass Stains

You can pre-treat a stain using rubbing alcohol. Apply it to the stain directly and then allow it to dry. Rinse the stain in cold water after the alcohol has dried. After that, you will need to use some enzyme detergent. Rinse the clothing again. Let your clothing dry before you wash it.

No one likes grass stains, but removing them may be easier than you think. Rubbing alcohol, vinegar and enzyme detergents are some of the things you can use to get rid of grass stains in your clothes. Keep in mind that alkaline detergents, ammonia or decrease-type detergents should never be used to remove grass stains, as these will actually “set” the stain and make it harder to remove later.
